An Adoption Journey

Hello and welcome to this thing called a BLOG, not exactly my type of thing, but we thought it would be a good way to communicate with the people we hold dear all over the world.
The latest status of our adoption is that we are in wait mode. We have completed all the necessary paperwork and have finished our home study. We are waiting on one report to come back from our old doctor in Charlotte. It should be in the mail as I type this. Once that is in to our agency's office it will only be a matter of time before we get our approval letter.
Once we get our approval letter and bill and once the bill is paid, they will begin to show our profile to birth moms and then as God allows we will be chosen.
Thank you for all your support and prayers, we appreciate them ALL!!!

We are so excited for you. Long process it sounds like, but all good things are worth waiting for and natural birth takes almost a year, so be encouraged. We will pray for God's blessings on you and even as I write my heart fills with warmth and love for you both. You are painfully missed here in Charlotte. Love ya,

Correction, blogging is only addicting if you are in a country that has internet access fast enough to actually do it in a timely manner (Viet Nam is not one)! ;-) Really though congratulations, we will be praying that it is a smooth and quick process for you all!

This will be really great! It'll kinda' be like you're still close by....but NOT! And it's such a great picture of the two prospective parents. Thanks for allowing all of us this privilege of joining w/you in prayer and expectation. Love & miss you.

Hi Scott & Sarah,

Yes, it is not just the birth mom who will make this decision. God is the one who will select this child for you.

We are excited for you!

Psalm 139:13-17

13 For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother's womb.

14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.

15 My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place.
When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,

16 your eyes saw my unformed body.
All the days ordained for me
were written in your book
before one of them came to be.

17 How precious to [a] me are your thoughts, O God!
How vast is the sum of them!

Dear S and S- You are two of the most wonderful people I know. You are so faithful to the Lord and I pray that He will mightily bless your lives as you continue to live for Him. You are precious in His sight! Always love you, Ant Sally
